I'm a Pulitzer Prize winning, Emmy nominated creative currently based out of D.C. I tell non fiction and fiction stories of diversity from around the world. Everything I try to do - films, documentaries, social media content, ads, promos - comes with a dose of infectious imagination. As a film maker first, I bring my post production, and cinematography skills to every project. The goal is always to listen first, but to also gently interrogate the valuable out of the mundane.
In the past, I've worked with ESPN's most valuable franchises, leading the edits for shows like SportsCenter, NFL tonight, Baseball tonight; as well as creating pioneering and socially conscious, cultural programming - at Viacom and MTV brands - working with celebrities, artists from around the world, as well as Indigenous America.
I am grateful for my original alma mater of University of Houston-Downtown, that let me finish my bachelors in Marketing, despite my struggles. It allowed me to be able to construct a dream career, and pick up a Masters in Cinematic Arts from DePaul University in Chicago.
